Regenerative Medicine
Regenerative Medicine is an exciting, rapidly developing field of pain treatment. By concentrating the body’s own natural healing properties, damaged or degenerative tissue can be repaired, renewed and inflammation and pain suppressed.
Delivering the Future of Regenerative Medicine
While traditional pain management techniques offer relief, they often do not address the root causes of chronic pain and limited function. A holistic approach to pain, regenerative medicine concentrates the body’s natural ability to heal and regenerate, offering a more comprehensive solution for long-term wellness. At Parkview Pain & Regenerative Institute we are dedicated to helping you achieve your peak performance and quality of life.
Our state-of-the-art orthobiologic treatments may help manage a variety of musculoskeletal conditions. For example, osteoarthritis is frequently treated with medications and/or steroid injections. Steroids are effective in reducing inflammation in the joint, but typically provide short lived relief and may have side effect, including weakening cartilage and other systemic effects.
Treatments such as Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP), Platelet Poor Plasma Concentrate (PPP), Bone Marrow Aspirate Concentrate (BMAC), and umbilical cord derived tissue allograft are cutting-edge regenerative treatments that may help accelerate the healing of damaged tissue without the risks associated with steroids.
With our state-of-the-art regenerative medicine therapies, you can regain mobility, reduce dependency on pain medications, and embrace a life of vitality!
Advanced Cell Therapies
Premature (“undifferentiated”) cells that are abundant in tissues such as bone marrow and fat can be collected from a patient’s own body or a purified donor. The harvested cells can then be precisely injected into an area of damage or pain to help reduce inflammation naturally and start the regenerative process. These cells are believed to work by multiple mechanisms to stimulate the patient’s own body to foster healing of damaged or degenerated tissue.

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)
What do Tiger Woods, Rafael Nadal, Kobe Bryant, and Alex Rodriguez all have in common? They have all used PRP to promote healing and recovery. PRP is a lower risk, well accepted medical treatment that uses a patient's own blood to accelerate healing in injured, degenerative tissue or surgical sites. PRP is created by drawing a patient's blood and using a centrifuge to separate and concentrate the platelets in the plasma. The resulting PRP contains a higher concentration of platelets and growth factors than normal blood, which can help speed up the body's healing process. Did you know that not all PRP is created equal? We at Parkview are experts in creating the highest quality PRP to deliver the best results.
Customized Regenerative Treatment Plans
Regenerative medicine treatments are only as effective as the accuracy of the diagnosis and precise delivery of biologic treatment. As experienced interventional pain specialists, we are the foremost experts in diagnosing and targeting the source of pain to delivery the best outcomes. At Parkview, our goal is to craft tailored, customized strategies informed by advanced diagnostics to address your specific pain management needs.
Regenerative therapy treat a wide variety of conditions including the following:
Joint Pain
One of the main indications for regenerative therapy is for the treatment of osteoarthritis of the shoulder, knee, or hip. Osteoarthritis can be thought of as the deterioration of cartilage that covers the ends of the bones in your joints. This cartilage allows your bones to glide along one another to provide smooth and painless joint motion. In advanced osteoarthritis, this cartilage can wear thin and eventually progress to the point where the bones may even erode. This can be very painful and lead to significant limitations in a patient’s activity levels.
Sacroiliac Joint Dysfunction
The sacroiliac joint is located at the base of the spine and is a common cause of lower back pain. If the joint is aligned incorrectly or unstable, one may experience significant back, hip, and pelvic pain. Regenerative therapy offers patients suffering from this pain another minimally invasive treatment option that may offer long-term benefit
Plantar Fasciitis
Chronic pain is hard to live with no matter the location, but plantar fasciitis can be debilitating as it makes it difficult for patients to walk. This condition can be very challenging to treat, as that portion of the body has poor blood flow. Regenerative therapy is a promising option that can help provide long-term relief.
Elbow Pain
Tendon injuries of the elbow can be very painful and oftentimes takes a considerable amount of time to heal. These patients can be treated with medications, physical therapy, steroid injections and even surgery. Regenerative therapy provides an opportunity for an effective, non-surgical treatment.
Neck and Back Pain
Certain types of neck and back pain may respond well to regenerative therapy. Studies have shown that spine pain due to degenerative disc disease, arthritic spinal joints, or weakened ligaments and muscles may be amenable to regenerative therapy which can provide significant pain and functional improvement. This can be an alternative to steroid injections, nerve ablations, and/or surgery. Regenerative therapy is an outpatient procedure that can help heal and more effectively treat the source of back pain longer term compared to other, more conventional therapies.
Joint Injuries
For many years, athletes have been treating their joint pain with rest, ice, medications and steroid injections. More recently, with the advancements in regenerative therapy options, athletes and non-athletes alike have been using platelet rich plasma and advanced cell therapy to treat pain. This treatment has been especially useful to treat knee, hip, and other joint injuries or even to maintain a high level of performance.
